Junction 2 festival to expand into two days for 2019 edition

The additional day will focus on more eclectic styles of electronic music...

Junction 2 festival’s organisers have announced that it will return in 2019 for its fourth edition, expanding to become a two day event in June.

Set to take place on Friday 7th and Saturday 8th June next year, the award winning festival will return to London’s Boston Manor Park for what promises to be yet another exceptional party.

While the festival Saturday will remain focussed on hard-edged house and techno sets, the newly introduced Friday bill will focus on a more diverse and eclectic range of sounds from a wide and versatile range of DJs and producers.

Junction 2 operates a strict no frills, no fuss, no VIP policy, something which has been reflected in their penchant for booking extended sets by carefully chosen DJs. This year saw Åme and Dixon play for six hours while other unforgettable sets came from Nina Kraviz, Joy Orbison and Len Faki. Perhaps most notably, this year’s outing saw legends meet as Carl Cox and Adam Beyer played a very special b2b set.

The first artist announcement for 2019’s Junction 2 is expected very soon. If you can’t wait though, you can register for pre-sale tickets now via the festival’s website.

Junction 2 will also be throwing a launch party at Tobacco Dock with Adam Beyer, Dixon, Åme, Rødhåd, Amelie Lens and more on Saturday 29th December 2018. Tickets for that are available here.
