Kano to play small charity gig in home borough, Newham, this weekend

The homecoming event will raise money for local community causes

Kano is bringing his 2019 album 'Hoodies All Summer' to London for a special homecoming show this weekend.

The intimate show will take place in his home borough of Newham at a secret location on February 8th. It's being arranged as part of the Wray Residency charity series, which sees artists playing small shows in their hometowns, raising money for local community causes in the process. GAIKA and Ms Banks are amongst the artists who took part in the initative last year.

Tickets for the show went on sale this morning (February 3rd). You can find more details on the show here

Kano last month shared a behind the scenes look at the process of working on and releasing his latest album, 'Hoodies All Summer'.

It was also recently revealed that Top Boy, the Netflix series in which Kano plays a leading role, will return this year. The news was leaked via an Instagram comment posted by Drake.
