Kelela has shared a video for her new single, ‘Contact’. Check it out below.
The video is directed by Director Pumps and is the fourth single from the singer’s forthcoming album ‘Raven’.
Speaking on the video, Kelela said: "The video for ‘Contact’ depicts the joy of pre-gaming/getting ready with my girls. I love having my real friends in my videos, and my bestie and collaborator Janiva Ellis makes a cameo in this one. It captures candid moments of having fun and being silly.”
Earlier last year, Kelela returned to announce the new album – debuting three singles which marked her first solo music release in four years: ‘Washed Away’, ‘Happy Ending’, and ‘On The Run’.
‘Raven’ is due to be released on 10th February via Warp, with Yo Van Lenz and Florian T M Zeisig (also known as the ambient duo OCA) and LSDXOXO working as the LP's two main producers, alongside additional production from Bambii.
To celebrate the new album, the singer will kick off a sold-out tour in March 2023 across the US, Canada, and the UK.
