Kokoroko have announced details of their debut album.

Led by Sheila Maurice-Grey, the eight-piece - who perform a blend of jazz and Afrobeat - will release the 15-track 'Could We Be More' via Gilles Peterson's Brownswood Recordings on 5th August 2022. The album comes eight years after the group formed in London in 2014.

Accompanying the news is the release of new single 'We Give Thanks'. Speaking about the track - which follows on from lead single 'Something's Going On'. Speaking about the single, the group said:

“We were imagining playing live with this one - it's definitely written with that energy we get towards the end of a set. Some shows, like La Cigalle in Paris or Paradiso in Dam have legit felt magical for us and you always want to give that energy back. This is us trying to do that.”
