LCY releases new EP, '/Y\', announces US tour: Listen

LCY has released their latest EP, '/Y\'. Listen below. 

Spanning six tracks, the EP explores themes around protection, conformity and safety in the context of societal binaries. There's also a fantasy narrative running through the tracks and the world around the record, according to a press release.

In a statement about the release, LCY said: "The written story and imagery of '/Y\' is my re-conceptualisation of the genesis story, using '90s/'00s webpages to reference an early place of childhood refuge. '/Y\' is made up of vocals, breaks and rave stabs for calm nostalgia, contrasted by the EP's broken and more destructive later half reflective of the inner turmoil of the main character."

LCY previously released the EP's lead track, '0NLY 0NE', last month.
