Legowelt is set to perform a live synth soundtrack to Stanley Kubrick's 1968 sci-fi classic 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Taking place as part of Grauzone Festival in The Hague on Friday, February 7th, the performance is the latest live score by the prolific electronic artist, born Danny Wolfers. He has previously live scored the likes of Werner Herzog's Nosferatu: Phantom der Nacht.

Notable for its innovative use of classical music taken from existing commercial recordings, the soundtrack to 2001: A Space Odyssey features pieces from the likes of Richard Strauss, György Ligeti and Aram Khachaturian.

Legowelt joined the likes of Egyptian Lover and Colin Benders to perform on the world's largest sequencer, the RBMA-20, at last year's Amsterdam Dance Event.

The producer's 'The Paranormal Soul' features in our electronic albums that defined the 2010s.
