LISTEN TO APHEX TWIN’S NEW ‘CHEETAH’ EP

BBC Radio 6 Music aired it in full over the weekend...

Aphex Twin’s ‘Cheetah’ EP is released via Warp this Friday (8th July), but you can listen to it in full after it premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music on Sunday (3rd July).

Seven-tracker ‘Cheetah’ contains four remixes of the title track, as well as two versions of ‘CIRKLON’ and one of ‘2X202-ST5’. You can stream it via the BBC iPlayer here, it starts at the 1:00:10 mark.

‘Cheetah’ is the third release by Aphex Twin, real name Richard D James, since he returned with his album, ‘Syro’, which was the first release of new music from him since 2001’s ‘Druxqs’.

Speaking about ‘Cheetah’, James suggested that there is much more new music to come in the near future too. He said, “Releasing music gets harder and harder. Every time I go to compile it, I give up after a few hours because it’s just so much stuff and then I get lost. But I'm now in this mode where I'm listening and compiling a lot. I think I'll be putting out a lot of stuff, hopefully.”
