The Mad Decent boss makes his selections...
Diplo has turned in a two-hour mix of his favourite tracks of 2016 for his final Diplo & Friends BBC Radio 1 show of the year, which you can listen to below.
The mix picks out cuts from his own side project, Major Lazer, as well as Calvin Harris, Rihanna, R3hab, Tujamo, Dillon Francis, Justin Bieber and many more, as the Mad Decent boss picks out 57 favourites from 2016.
It’s been a big year of collaborations for Diplo too, as last month (November) he teamed up with 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJs winners Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike for their track, ‘Hey Baby’, featuring singer Deb’s Daughter.
He also played the new track he’s worked on with Florence Welch at a show in Minneapolis in October, dropped the video for his Zeds Dead collaboration, ‘Blame’, in September, and teased an image of him working in the studio with Ariana Grande on Snapchat in August.
