Elliot Adamson first burst onto DJ Mag’s radar with his track on Patrick Topping’s disc on Hot Creations’ ‘Paradise On Earth’ compilation earlier this year. We were quick to subsequently lock him in for a Fresh Kicks mix as we spotted the signs of a tech-house master in the making.
At only 20-years-old, Adamson has already seen release through VIVa Limited, Troupe, Tough Luck Records and We Are Genius Recordings, and this year has played elrow in Barcelona, as well as hold down a regular slot at Digital in his hometown of Newcastle.
And Adamson caps off his biggest year yet with two giant shows over the festive period. The first is at Hot Creations’ Boxing Day shindig alongside label regulars Patrick Topping, Richy Ahmed, wAFF, Solardo, Jacky, Lee Walker and many more. The second is at The Warehouse Project’s Carl Cox & Friends showcase on Friday 30th December, with the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Jon Rundell and Lauren Lo Sung.
The fast-rising selector starts his mix with ‘Pleased To Meet You’, from the Hot Creations compilation, before embarking on a raucous Fresh Kicks that leans heavily on his own material.
We can see big things for Adamson in 2017. Check out why by listening to his Fresh Kicks mix below, and see the tracklist underneath the stream.
