Over an hour of power from the Glasgow-based selector…

Hammer takes control of the DJ Mag Podcast this week – and the Belfast-born Glasgow-based selector has turned in an extended mix of intoxicating house music.

2016 has proved to be a massive year for Hammer, real name Rory Hamilton, in which he’s proven himself to be an incredibly dexterous DJ, spinning alongside artists as varied as Sasha, Horse Meat Disco and, of course, long-term collaborators Bicep.

Hamilton has a huge festive season on the horizon too, capped off by a homecoming show at Shine on Boxing Day – a club he reveals below as the first he ever went to – with the Feel My Bicep night there welcoming Craig Richards, Clouds, nd_baumecker, Phil Kieran and more.

Listen to Hammer’s DJ Mag Podcast below, and grab tickets to Shine’s Feel My Bicep Boxing Day shindig from the event’s website.
