This week’s DJ Mag podcast comes from Jon Rundell, who works an ebb and flow that shows exactly why he’s solidified his reputation as one of the world’s finest techno DJs over the last decade.
The mix was recorded live at Kaiser Souzai’s Ballroom, Magdalena, Berlin on 10th June, and features a masterclass which demonstrates the selectors versatility across a set of foundation shaking music.
Rundell kicked off 2015 with ‘Freak Out’, his debut track on Loco Dice and Martin Buttrich’s Desolat, before going on to release music through MB Elektroniks, Respekt Recordings, Octopus Black, Pornographic and Suara, as well as launching his own Etch label and Intec Digital, which he runs alongside the mighty Carl Cox.
Rundell returns to Ibiza this year, going on deck at Marco Bailey’s Materia at Privilege’s Vista Club, as well as playing Beat-Herder in Lancashire this month (July), Dreambeach Villaricos in Spain in August and The Social Festival in Kent in September.
