LISTEN TO KITT PROUDFOOT’S TRANSCENDANT FRESH KICKS MIX

60 minutes of genre bending from the London-based selector...

This week’s DJ Mag Fresh Kicks mix comes from Kitt Proudfoot, ahead of his performance at this weekend’s Farr Festival, where he closes The Raj Mahal stage on Saturday night (15th July).

Proudfoot first cut his teeth with a variety of residencies on the White Isle, including We Love at Space, Pikes, Atzaro, Blue Marlin, Nassau and KM5. In London, he recently finished his weekly party at Shoreditch House after moving to Berlin, having taking up a residency at Soho House there. He’s also recently been seen on deck at Secretsundaze, Bugged Out! and Dalston Superstore.

Bicep have described him as the “greatest wedding DJ on the planet” in the past, and the Newcastle-born selector’s sets have become known for an intuitive sense of flow, progressing through timeless house, deep disco and classic love songs. For his mix, Proudfoot brings an hour of music to get lost on the dancefloor to, working through everything from Simple Minds and Jerry Lee, before riding the gamut of house and disco.

You can listen to the exclusive Fresh Kicks mix below, see the full stage times for Farr Festival underneath the stream, and get more details and tickets on the event’s website.
