LISTEN TO LUKAS LYRESTAM’S JACKIN’ EDIT OF PRINCE’S ‘EROTIC CITY’

Welcoming a massive new rework of the purple one…

Lukas Lyrestam drops three reworks on his ‘Clouded Edits’ EP via his own Clouded House imprint this week. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of his edit of Prince’s ‘Erotic City (Lyrestam’s Jackin’ 90s version)’ below.

The third release from Lyrestam on Clouded House – after last year’s ‘1989’ and this year’s ‘Can’t Move’ – sees the Swedish producer turn one of Prince’s all-time classics into a jackin’ 4/4 driven slice of funk-fueled house.

Speaking about the release, Lyrestam told DJ Mag, “To me, ‘Erotic City’ sums up everything that’s vibrant and exciting about the early days of house music. After this year’s heartbreaking event, the least I could do was try and reimagine it in the 90s vibe that I love so much.”
