Manuela Gandolfo hits Francesca Lombardo’s Echoe label for the imprint’s fourth release tomorrow (15th October) with her ‘Arcadia’ EP. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the title track below.
A languid slice of minimal tech drenched in groove and swing, ‘Arcadia’ is the kind of track that has been lighting up DC-10’s Terrace at Circoloco all summer this year.
Speaking about the release, label head Lombardo said, “We met through music, she liked my music and one day when in London we met and became friends. Shortly after she sent me ‘A Rainy Day’ and I fell in love with the track and asked her to put my voice on it. Since then we talk on a weekly basis and have become really close to each other. I love her style, which I find unique.”
