LISTEN TO RUMOR'S '80S INSPIRED SLAMMER, 'FAKE'

Huge weekend tune incoming...

Manchester-based record label Method Music welcomes a new addition to their ranks next month, with DJ/producer Rumor set to drop his 'Spirits' EP on the imprint.

DJ Mag's got the first listen of Rumor's club-ready single 'Fake', which samples Alexander O'Neal's funky '80s anthem of the same name — we can't wait to play this one out this weekend.

On the new track, Rumor says: "'Fake' came together as one of those accidental moments, where a simple kick and funky bassline, carried by a well-known sample of an '80s soul singer, became something of a belter on the dancefloor."

DJ Mag agrees, this is one hell of a belter. Happy Friday!

Out via Method Music in September.
