Sam Binga returns to the Astrophonica fold for the first time since 2014 next month, dropping percussive workout 'BFT' as part of the imprint's 'Gradients' compilation LP.
The UK producer joins a list of contributors that reads like a who's who of forward-thinking underground talent, including label boss, Fracture, Teklife's DJ Earl, junglists Om Unit, Moresounds and Sully, Exit honcho dBridge and more.
Known for genre-blending productions, Binga is on top form once again with 'BFT', combining skittering juke rhythms, rude grime stabs, savage jungle breaks and a low-end designed to push soundsystems to breaking point. All this leads us to believe the track's title must surely stand for Big F*cking Tune!
The 'Gradients' LP drops via Astrophonica on 24th March, you can pre-order a copy here and check out 'BFT' in full below.
Sam Binga joins Fracture, DJ Earl, Sully and Neptune at the DJ Mag Bunker x Astrophonica 'Gradients' launch party at London's Work Bar on Wednesday 22nd February. Sign up to the guestlist for free entry.
