Liverpool club to repurpose space for children’s charity for Christmas period

A Liverpool club is repurposing its space for a children’s charity this Christmas.

From 16th-19th December, Blackstone Street Warehouse will open its doors to KIND, a Liverpool-based charity committed to helping the lives of children and families across the city. 

The venue - which has played host to numerous big names over the years, including Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, and Patrick Topping - will be used to pack and distribute Christmas hampers to thousands of less-fortunate families across the region. Each Christmas hamper contains enough food for one week along with basic supplies and luxuries. 

Yousef, artist and co-founder of Circus Events - who operate the venue alongside Chibuke Events - said: “It’s our honour and privilege to offer our facilities to assist KIND in their season campaign to help those in need this Christmas time. Our team look forward to helping in any way we can."

Working alongside The Events Company UK, KIND hope to reach up to 10,000 children in need. The charity's founder and director Stephen Yip added: “We at KIND are so grateful and appreciative of the support shown by Circus, Chibuku and The Events Company UK in allowing us to use their venue in Blackstone Street to pack this year’s Christmas food hampers. Thanks to this support we shall once again be able to give thousands of disadvantaged children and their families from across our community a Christmas to remember."
