Locklead hits Icelandic imprint Borg Ltd this week (Friday 24th February) with his ‘Madniz’ EP. We’ve got the exclusive premiere of the title track below.
Hailing from Utrecht, Locklead is the DJ/production name of 27-year-old Wesley Endeman, who has been making up-front house in the vein of DJ Haus and Samuel Deep for a hot minute.
Through releases on Hot Haus Records, Unknown To The Unknown, Koma Records and Raw Underground, Endeman has developed his signature sound, which hovers between jacking house, raw techno and the swung groove of UKG.
On ‘Madniz’, he presents a bass-heavy floor-flller that’s heavily indebted to the house emanating from his home city in recent years.
