Loco Dice has announced a hip-hop-inspired side project, FKD

The techno don is going back to roots...

It's no secret that before Loco Dice became one of the world's most revered techno selectors he was brought up on a strict diet of hip-hop.

Clearly, his appreciation of hip-hop and now grime has never gone away as he's announced a new side project, FKD, inspired by both genres.

The collaborative group has been created by Loco Dice with his longtime friends Frizzo and Kobe Hodgson, who all share a strong appreciation of hip-hop and its many forms.

Dice has been teasing his FKD project via his Instagram page, giving his fans a glimpse of who he has been in the studio with in London, including grime artists YGG and Jacques Fugee.

Earlier this year, DJ Mag Ibiza sat down with Loco Dice, Pan-Pot and Chris Liebing to talk about their rise through the techno ranks where they are now the face of clubbing brand, HYTE.

The debut EP from FKD will be released today (15th December).
