Loft Club to close in 2020 after 30-years

The German venue will shut its doors on 31st October next year

After 30 years, Loft Club is set to close next year.

Following in the footsteps of Milan's Dude Club, London's Hangar, Dublin's Bernard Shaw and Amsterdam's Claire, among several others, the Ludwigshafen venue will shut its doors for the last time on 31st October 2020.

Having opened back in 1989, the German club will bow out throughout the year with appearances from the likes of Rebekah, Joseph Capriati, Dominik Eulberg and yet more to be announced.

Posting on Facebook, organisers said, "We have been fighting for a long time, and we already know that we will miss the long nights, the euphoric performances of numerous world star DJs and the smiling faces of visitors."

Italian techno club Jaiss recently reopened after 15 years.
