Planned to run from 3rd to 6th August, Lollapalooza festival were forced to cancel headline appearances from Porter Robinson, as well as Muse, Lorde and Lil Uzi Vert.

A tweet from Lollapalooza’s official account read, “The remainder of performances have been canceled.”

No announcement has been made on the rest of the weekend, although the festival organisers are reported to be tracking developments from an on-site weather station.

Lollapalooza founder Perry Farrell recently spoke out on much of the music that's now booked at the event, stating, "I hate EDM. I want to vomit it out of my nostrils."
