London club Five Miles has released a 24-track fundraising compilation to help it see through the COVID-19 lockdown.

The Seven Sisters venue was meant to celebrate its third birthday last weekend. In lieu of a proper celebration or party, the team got in touch with DJs and producers who’ve played there over the years to contribute tracks to the ‘Five Miles From Home’ compilation.

The comp features tracks from the likes of Daphni AKA Caribou, Six Figure Gang’s Yazzus. Jerome Hill, GFOTY, Rhythm Section's Z Lovecraft and more.

“The kindness that our extended community has shown us over the last few weeks has been incredibly humbling and has given us some much needed strength in a time when everything seems to be falling apart. Thank you all so much.

The UK’s Music Venue Trust’s #saveourvenues campaign has already received over £1 million in donations since launching last week.

In April, Berlin’s local government announced that it would provide €30 million in grants to private institutions throughout the city, including nightclubs. Meanwhile in the UK, earlier this month, London’s Night Czar Amy Lamé appealed to local council authorities to suspend licence fees and late night levy fees for hospitality businesses for 12 months in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
