London’s new club, E1, is opening with a 27-hour NYE party

E1 has been dubbed “the venue London has needed for years”...

E1, a brand new London club, is set to open with a 27-hour party on 31st December 2017.

Said to be the brainchild of several industry veterans, E1 — which lies on the site of a former factory – will open on the location that’s currently home to Studio Spaces in Wapping, East London.

The venue’s owners claim they will transform the space for E1’s opening, including doing extensive work with acoustic consultancy and pioneering audio specialists Sound Services Ltd, to install a bespoke, integrated Funktion-One sound system.

It’s been a positive few months in the wake of recent London club closures, with Printworks giving the city its potential Berghain moment when it opened in February.

Pretty much the whole of clubland was appalled when Fabric had its license revoked last year. Check out DJ Mag UK’s investigation into what the reopening of the Farringdon venue means for the future of London clubbing.

Currently no line-up details of the 27-hour NYE party at E1 have been announced, but you can sign up for updates on the venue’s website.
