London’s Risen festival announces over 80 names for 2023 line-up

London festival Risen has revealed the line-up for its second edition this spring in Hackney Wick.

The one-day event celebrating "the divine feminine" will take over seven venues in the east London canalside area on Saturday, 1st April. More than 80 artists have been announced for this year's line-up, including Lakuti, Tama Sumo, Lena Wilikens, Manara, A.G, Tailor Jae, Paramida, RAW SILK, Jaye Ward and Michelle Manetti. Also named are Ell Murphy, FYI Robyn, Jojo Jones, Romy, Wild Blood & Queenie, Mixtress, Denu, GEM and more.

There's also a slew of collectives and crews on board, like B.L.O.O.M., Femme Fraiche, Mix Nights, Sisu, Common Ground and Team Woibey, among others. Four of the seven total venues have been confirmed so far: Colour Factory, The Yard, Crate Brewery and All My Friends. Details about official afterparties are still to come.

Risen launched in 2022 with the aim of being "an exercise in love vibration" and to highlight new and established talent "who represent the feminine energy".

"Year one was incredible, and we've been overwhelmed with the interest in Risen and how many people want to be a part of year two, continuing to build the community (attendees, artists and BTS) and provide a space to celebrate the divine feminine," co-founders Kitty Bartlett and Alice Franklin said in a statement.
