Lone has announced a new EP on his Ancient Astronauts label, with 'Abraxas' due to drop on 2nd August.
It's the first physical release on the imprint, which launched in February with 'Melted (Out Of Body Experience)'. The platform has been established as an outlet for the UK producer in the run up to a forthcoming studio album, which follows previous long-form outings on Dealmaker, Werkdiscs, Magicwire and R&S— the latter putting out his acclaimed 'Galaxy Garden', DJ Mag's Album of the Year 2014 'Reality Testing' and 'Levitate' two years later.
Three tunes feature on the EP, kicking off with a title number that offers up loose, broken, rave-influenced drums, dreamy melodics and stacks of dancefloor potential. Whether any high profile pop acts like Black Eyed Peas will be 'showing appreciation' in the coming weeks is another question. Either way see what you think below.
