LP Giobbi shares video for new single, ‘Body Breathe’ featuring Monogem: Watch

LP Giobbi has shared a new single, ‘Body Breathe’ featuring vocals from LA singer-songwriter Monogem.

Check out the track below. 'Body Breathe' is brought to life by animation from OK Motion Club, a women-run animation studio based in Atlanta.

"My studio doors were open and I was at the piano playing [Bill Evans’] ‘Peace Piece’ warming up and killing time before Monogem got there," recalled LP Giobbi of the recording process. "She walked in while I was playing and we started talking about our shared love for jazz. As I continued to tinker around on those chords, she started singing ‘take all the time you need, open up your body breathe...’ Although those chords weren’t right, they got us to her amazing vocals and that vocal got us to the track.”

'Body Breathe' follows recent singles from LP Giobbi – who is also the founder of non-profit FEMME HOUSE – 'Forever and a Day' and 'All in a Dream', which were released earlier this year and remixed by Diplo and Logic1000, respectively.

Earlier this year, Logic100 dropped her remix of LP Giobbi's 'All In A Dream Feat. DJ Tennis and Joseph Ashworth'.
