Major Lazer share new track, ‘Que Calor’: Listen

Reggaeton meets dembow with J Balvin and El Alfa...

Major Lazer have shared a new track, ‘Que Calor’, featuring Colombian reggaeton icon J Balvin and Dominican don El Alfa.

Both artists have previously collaborated with the outfit, which comprises Diplo, Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. The track gives a strong nod to the home countries of both guest stars, sampling Toto La Momposina's Colombian-cumbia classic 'Curara' and rhythms synonymous with the Dominican Republic's dembow music scene.

The release will feature on the crew's forthcoming fourth and final album, and follows on from the summertime anthem 'Make It Hot', which also had strong South American links thanks to Brazil's Anitta, and 'Can't Take It From Me', featuring Skip Marley, grandson of reggae legend, Bob.

Take a look at the video below, directed by the award-winning Colin Tilley and starring two familiar Major Lazer Gyals, Sara Bivens and Helen Gedlu.
