Marcus Intalex’s final Trevino album set for posthumous release
'Back' will serve as a bookend to the 2016 album 'Front', the late artist's debut LP under his house- and techno-focused Trevino alias

The late Marcus Intalex's final album as Trevino will be released in May. Listen to previews and lead track 'Gateway' below.
'Back' will serve as a bookend to the 2016 album 'Front', Marcus Kaye's debut LP under the house- and techno-focused Trevino alias. The Trevino moniker is inspired by Lee Trevino, Kaye's favourite golfer, which presents throughout the output: the two albums each feature nine tracks, mimicking the "front" and "back" nine holes of the sport, and the golf course artwork. The album will be released via Kaye's also-on-theme Birdie label on 26th May, two days shy of the six-year anniversary of his untimely death on 28th May, 2017.
There have been a number of posthumous releases from Marcus Kaye's projects since his passing in 2017. Those include an April 2018 self-titled EP on SUNANDBASS Recordings and a three-track EP under his Art Vandelay alias, on Birdie, later that year in November. That same month, Kaye's Soul:r label concluded with a Mako EP.
