MARSHALL JEFFERSON LAUNCHES KICKSTARTER TO CROWDFUND NEW ALBUM

The house veteran is asking for $10,000 to fund a vinyl release

Marshall Jefferson has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for his new album.

The legendary house DJ is looking to raise $10,000 to press the album, which is finished, as soon as possible.

The as yet unnamed project was co-produced by the elusive Sleezy D, who Jefferson describes in an accompanying promo video as “the living embodiment of the life of the party".

Jefferson is best known for his series of singles released on Trax Records in the '80s. The Chicago producer’s last solo album, ‘Day Of The Onion’ was released on KTM in 1996.
