Martin Garrix on Kygo: "He’s so much bigger than EDM"

Top 100 DJs winner interviewed in new Apple Music doc, Stole The Show...

Martin Garrix is set to appear in a new documentary by Apple Music. Adding to its ever-growing list of titles, the streaming service is about to release a fresh flick celebrating the life, times, tunes, and global hysteria surrounding one of the biggest men in the EDM scene: Kygo.

The Norwegian megastar, whose out-and-out bomb 'It Ain’t Me' is currently soundtracking summers across the world, now lays claim to having his own film, Stole The Show, which will be released through Apple Music on 26th July.

The movie includes testimonials and praise from a plethora of sources close to the artist, including manager, Myles Shear, notorious cake-obsessive Steve Aoki, and U2 frontman Bono.

Winner of 2016’s Top 100 DJs list, Martin Garrix, also features, offering his thoughts on Kygo, with one sentence standing out enough to close the film’s trailer: “He’s so much bigger than EDM. He’s Kygo.”

As big as a big up could possibly ever get, the documentary arrives just as hype surrounding Kygo’s forthcoming second album is beginning to build, with the record expected to arrive later this year, although no specific dates have been confirmed as yet.

We’ll be keeping you posted, though, obvs, and in the meantime check out the film’s teaser below, and take a listen to the man himself live from Electric Daisy Carnival last month here
