Martin Garrix named one of GQ’s most inspirational men
Another amazing year for the wunderkind...
Martin Garrix has been named one of GQ’s most inspirational men of 2017. The Dutch DJ/producer/label owner is joined by the likes of John Legend, Elon Musk, David Beckham and Aziz Ansari, as part of the men's magazine's The Man Of Today list.
GQ prefaces their selections: “They’re people who measure success based upon the values by which they live their lives; they’re multi-faceted individuals unafraid to express themselves through their talents; they’re trailblazers whose actions and impact on society have challenged and broadened the very nature of masculinity.”
The team notes Garrix’s entrepreneurial spirit (he launched STMPD at the age of 20) as cause for the selection. Garrix revealed a branded STMPD Records studio in April of 2017.
The announcement follows Garrix’s repeat at the number one spot atop the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ list.
