Martin Garrix has ‘made a fans year’ by purchasing him return flights to Amsterdam, so that he can attend the Dutchman’s Amsterdam Dance Event performance at Amsterdam RAI on Friday 21st October.

Chris McPhadden, from Dublin, Ireland, bought tickets to Garrix’s ADE showcase when they first went on sale, only to find out flights to the event were unaffordable.

In a last ditch attempt to make the show, he tweeted the Dutch EDM star to share his problem. Garrix subsequently contacted the Irishman by direct message on Twitter to confirm travel details, before sending through the booking confirmation for return flights to the event.

“I bought the tickets to his show when they first went on sale because I was afraid they would sell out,” McPhadden told Billboard, “but I went to Sziget in Budapest in August, and traveled America in September, and the flights had went up 300 euros, and I couldn't afford them anymore, so I chanced my luck with Martin – and well, luck of the Irish he replied.”

You can see the Twitter direct message dialogue between the pair below.

Garrix is currently in the middle of dropping seven tracks in seven days as part of ADE, with the first metarial landing on the Dutchman’s SoundCloud, as well as Spotify, on Saturday 15th October.

Earlier this month Garrix also revealed that he will be joining Justin Bieber on the Australian leg of his current Purpose World Tour, which takes place in March 2017.
