Mary Anne Hobbs is teaming up with fabric to put on a special event marking International Women's Day this March.

All Queens, set for 12th March, will see Hobbs take over the London club with an all-female line-up including AFRODEUTSCHE, TAAHLIAH, Jamz Supernova, Elkka, Jossy Mitsu and Nia Archives. Laurel Halo and Courtesy are also scheduled to play a first-time b2b set together.

The All Queens event follows previous collaborations under the banner between Hobbs and Manchester International Festival in 2019 and All Points East in 2021.

In addition to the DJ line-up, the night at fabric will see women working in every role at the club, from the bar and door to the sound in the two rooms hosting the event.

"It's been so exciting to design the All Queens all-female takeover for International Women’s Day with [fabric's longtime Programming Director] Judy Griffith, who is the Godmother at fabric. You'll find women working in every role in the club; on the door, behind the bar, working as sound engineers... joining a formidable line-up of all-female DJs who will play right across the electronic spectrum.

"We are elevating women who create the unforgettable night-life experience we love, in every dimension of the Clubbing profession. It's gonna be a wild night, and everybody is welcome."

Tickets are on sale here.

At the start of last year, Mary Anne Hobbs marked the 15th anniversary of her seminal Dubstep Warz show on BBC Radio 1. The legendary broadcaster also won the Outstanding Contribution award at DJ Mag's Best of British Awards 2021
