Launched last week, Aire Libre is a new FM radio station broadcasting from Mexico City, the capital of Mexico.

Broadcasting on 105.3 FM, Aire Libre promises DJ sets of all persuasions alongside live acts, talks show and the broadcasting of external events. This is supported not only via a studio where show can be recorded and streamed, but also by a mobile studio housed in an Airstream trailer. This will hit the road every Saturday to broadcast from a different part of Mexcio City living up to the station’s name, which translates as ‘open air’.

In the press released the station announced that they hope to "boost the transformation of radio throughout the country. With our programming and concept, we hope to open doors to both emerging and established artists and musicians. We're a forum and a media outlet for promoting the music and the ideas that move the world today."
