M.I.A. has launched her own clothing range, which includes a “tin foil hat” that claims to block "99.99 per cent of Wi-Fi, 4G, and 5G” from the brain.

According to Consequence of Sound, the UK artist first announced the collection on Alex Jones’s controversial, conspiracy theory-led show Infowars. She later shared the Ohmni range on Instagram, which comprises a "reversible two-tone hat", a "full shield graphic armour tee" and a "full protection poncho".

The hat is allegedly made with "pure copper and nickel faraday fabric" and promises "100% brain coverage".

Meanwhile, the Ohmni range is described on its website as the “last frontier at preserving your privacy, autonomy, and rights over your body and your data,” and “the armour of the modern knight in the age of modern technological warfare.”

"Future backwards is R U TUF. If the conspiracy theorists are wrong, good for you, you own some beautiful clothes made with pure silver and precious metals. But, if they are right, you just might have saved the future of humanity,"  the statement continues.

It's not the first time M.I.A. has courted controversy, having previously appeared to push an anti-vax agenda while previously commenting on the conspiracy theory linking 5G to Covid-19. In 2022, after Jones was ordered to pay almost $1 billion to the parents of children killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, M.I.A. tweeted: "If Alex Jones pays for lying, shouldn't every celebrity pushing vaccines pay too?"

Last year, M.I.A. released a new mixtape, 'Bells Collection', which featured contributions from Skrillex, Blaqstarr and Troy Baker. The tape marked her first clutch of new material since 2022 album 'MATA'.
