Miami government consider putting an end to all festivals in Bayfront Park

Ultra Music Festival would be the decision’s most high-profile casualty...

Ultra Music Festival’s longstanding relationship with the city’s iconic Bayfront Park is severely under threat following a new proposal by Miami’s city commissioner. For almost half of its existence, the festival has called the park home, with its majestic views and stunning waterside location considered one of the best in the EDM world.

However, all of this may be about to change if the city commissioners get their way, following a change.org petition that states that “since the beginning of 2007, Bayfront Park has been closed to the public of in a state of disrepair for over 100 days due to mega concerts like Ultra and Rolling Loud”. Here's hoping that everyone can come to an amicable decision that suits everyone soon.
