Moog unveils new synth that includes 808 State presets

Available for $1799 following this year’s Moogfest...

Moog has introduced a limited edition synth, dubbed the Subsequent 37 CV, ahead of this year’s Moogfest.

The “Moogfest Edition” is limited to just 2000 pieces and features presets made by S U R V I V E, Simian Mobile Disco, 808 State, Syrinx and Zola Jesus. The first 125 units will be available exclusively at Guitar Center and a pop-up shop during this weekend’s Moogfest in Asheville, NC.

The synth is a redesign of Moog’s Sub 37 Tribute Edition, a paraphonic analog synthesizer released back in 2014. However, the redesign keeps modular synth users at the top of mind.

Subsequent 37 CV arrives equipped with four assignable CV outputs and two assignable gate outputs for plugging in large format and Eurorack modular systems. Additionally, it features an upgraded keybed that Moog claims offers “improved playability”.
