Morgan Hislop has announced his debut album, 'Ghostin' Me'.

The London-based artist, who recently collaborated with OhEm and Japanese rapper Nakamura Minami on two singles, has dropped brand new track 'Apricity', alongside details of the forthcoming LP.

Featuring Lisbon-based vocalist jules, 'Apricity' features on 'Ghostin' Me' alongside a number of new collaborations with James Alexander Bright, Sara Z, Orchid and Wastefellow.

Speaking about the new single, Hislop said: “With 'Apricity' I wanted to challenge myself to maintain those trademark sounds I hear in my music  - sparkling chopped vocals, saccharine melodies - but strip it back to it’s bare bones using analogue equipment to add a little grit. jules’ vocals had this fragility and ghostliness that juxtaposed well to the bouncing arpeggiated synth. It’s a big experiment ultimately, but I still feel like it’s noticeably one of mine - and it makes so much sense in the context of the LP.”

The album will be released via Remedy! on 15th July, and is the product of Hislop's "relentless desire to push his craft into new territories".
