Motion Bristol announces Turkey and Syria earthquake relief fundraising event with Redlight, Royal T, more
Funds raised will be donated to the British Red Cross' earthquake appeal
Bristol club Motion is putting on a fundraising party to support those affected by the recent earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
Set to take place on 1st April, the event will feature sets from Redlight, Royal T, Champion, Subshift and an unannounced special guest, and proceeds will be donated to the British Red Cross Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal.
Speaking about the club's decision to put on a fundraising event, Motion Bristol's George Thoburn said: "We will always strive to use our resources and platform to help raise money and awareness for important causes such as this, whether it's on a local or global scale. Motion wants to support communities in every way we can, as we strongly believe community and togetherness are what raving is all about."
Tickets for the event are on sale here, while you can donate directly to the British Red Cross Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal here.
Numerous electronic music compilations have been released in recent weeks raising funds for those affected by the devastating earthquakes, including one curated by East End Dubs, another from SouqSounds and another by Istanbul's Müstesna Records alongside Ransom Note's Dance Music From Planet Earth label.
