The Museum of Modern Electronic Music is opening this year

The Museum of Modern Electronic Music (MOMEM) has confirmed it will be opening its doors this year. Located in Frankfurt, DE, the museum celebrates the sound’s gear, techniques, culture and essential artists and cultivators.

The brainchild of Alex Azary (of Technoclub and Club XS), Talla 2XLC (of Technoclub) and Stefan Weil (Atelier Markgraph), MOMEM will be situated in a former Children’s museum in the city’s famous Hauptwache plaza.

According to the museum’s floor plan, visitors can explore various electronic music styles, wardrobe wearables, the pivotal technology, cultural artwork and the influences upon entering through the Sonic Gateway.

No exact open date has been revealed. More details can be found on the museum’s website. A call remains open for donations.
