Native Instruments announces four-deck DJ controller, Traktor Kontrol S3

It will retail at $649

Native Instruments is launching a new four-deck DJ controller, called Traktor Kontrol S3.

A development from the two-channel S2 mode, NI is marketing the product as a device for those who are looking to "break into the world of four-deck DJing".

It will retail at $649 or £499, and maintains features from the company's S2 and S4 models such as large jog wheels that produce light rings to warn DJs when a track is close to ending, much like various models of Pioneer's CDJs, and extended pitch and channel faders.

The controller also includes full EQ, filters and built-in effects as well as two pairs of eight RGB pads allowing DJs to trigger loops, hotcues and samples.

Traktor Kontrol S3 will be available to purchase from next month and will be bundled with Traktor Pro 3.

You can watch a trailer for the product below.

Native Instruments last month laid off 20% of its workforce ahead of what it called a 'fully integrated platform' launch.
