The basement club is in Manchester's Northern Quarter

A new club is opening in Manchester.

The 200-capacity Cotton club will be in the basement of a former printing press in the city's Northern Quarter, with the first event set to take place on Friday the 13th September.

The new venue is licensed from Monday through to Sunday, and has a focus on LGBTQ+ and female balanced line-ups. The launch night will welcome Umwelt and Phoebe Valentine, before Photonz and IDA perform in the basement the following weekend.

The rest of the shows through to December the 6th will feature performances from the likes of rRoxymore, Juan Atkins, LSDXOXO, Teki Latex and SPFDJ.
