This new book explores Ibiza’s ’70s and ’80s club scene

Get an insight into the earlier years of the White Isle's clubbing landscape

A new book exploring the earlier years of Ibiza's clubbing scene is set to be published next year by Test Pressing.

'Ibiza DJs 1976 - 1988' focuses on club culture on the White Isle through the '70s and '80s through the lens of some of its key DJs, including Amnesia’s DJ Alfredo and Leo Mas, Cirillo from Amnesia, Pacha and Space, DJ Carlos from the now-closed Nito’s & Pacha, Joan Ribas from Pacha and Patrick Michaut of now-closed after hours haven Glory’s. Interviews with all of them feature inside.

Alongside the interviews, the 48-page book includes photos from the time.

The book is the first in a new series from Test Pressing which will take a close look at various music scenes, and the key figures of those scenes, around the world.

It'll be released soon alongside the launch of a new website from Test Pressing. Find more information here.

Back to the present day, Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa recently announced plans for 24-hour opening and closing parties in 2020.
