TAKE NOTE REVEALS MORE SPEAKERS FOR NOVEMBER CONFERENCE

New dance music conference lines up reps from Mobilee, Island & DJ Mag

The electronic music world is notoriously difficult to get into, and a new London event coming this November will help pass on some nuggets of wisdom to those hoping to make it in or level up their career.

New cultural venue Second Home in East London is hosting Take Note, an electronic music conference which will see a host of inspiring speakers including Ben Pearce, Clive Henry, Kidnap Kid, Roni Size, Hodgson, Jose Padilla and Disclosure writer/producer Jimmy Naples offer some words of advice.

They'll be joined by new additions including Marcus Barnes (editor/author, Around The World In 80 Raves), Alistair Webber (A&R, Island Records) and Ralf Kollman (Co-founder, Mobilee Records), as well as representatives from Beats 1, Resident Advisor and DJ Mag.

There’’ll also be production masterclasses on offer courtesy of Point Blank electronic music school, and delegates can request meetings with industry professionals as part of the Inspire Or Hire scheme, which allows face to face opportunities to pitch ideas or request work experience.

Later in the day, the conference area will transform into a music event space from 7pm with a special live performance.

Saturday 21st November is the date to mark in your diaries, and the event runs from 10am up until 10:30pm.

Earlybird tickets are £40 and can be purchased here.
