New Paris superclub, Phantom, to open in March
I Hate Models, Monolink, Shlømo, Bob Sinclar and Maceo Plex are confirmed for the first three months
Paris is getting a new superclub in the form of the 3,400-capacity Phantom, which is due to open next month.
Located at 8 Boulevard de Bercy, events will run until 6AM, with tickets priced between €25.19 and €40.19. The venue sits beneath Accor Hotel Arena, an eye-catching concert hall in the 12th arrondissement known for its angular modernist exterior and grass walls.
The club itself is due to launch on Friday 17th March. I Hate Models headlines the opening party, while local talent Corbeille Dallas plays with Illnurse, and Ey.rah completes the line-up. Other notable names in the first weeks include Monolink live (31st March), Trym with Shlømo b2b Alignment (21st April), and Bob Sinclar (22nd April).
Eric Prydz and Maceo Plex are also confirmed to play the venue before summer, although exact dates are still to be unveiled. You can find the opening announcement below. Paris Society, a major player in the French nightlife sector behind venues including Taboo, Mirage, Raspoutine, and Boum Boum, is responsible for the new opening.
Earlier this month, 19 French clubs — including Parisian institution Rex and Nantes haunt Macadam — announced a push to end single-use plastics. In 2021, 38 of the country's most respected venues launched an initiative to gain recognition as cultural spaces, partly in response to a perceived lack of support from policymakers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
