Novation open London synth and hardware pop-up

The hardware company's store will host workshops, masterclasses and demos

Studio hardware company Novation have opened a pop-up store and masterclass hub in London's Bethnal Green. Running until Dec 22nd, Novation will be hosting interactive demo sessions with their latest kit including the newly-announced Launchpad X. Known as Novation London, the pop-up will run scheduled workshops with beginner producers and musicians who want to learn more about their Peak, Summit and other hardware, while every Friday there'll be a live performance demoing the Novation kit on stage.

The rest of the week will be split into LEARN, DISCOVER and LATES, with LEARN offering workshops "covering subjects such as creating grooves using Launchpad in the ‘Making Beats’ series, weekly synthesis tutorials, Launchpad ‘Hackspace’ workshops, plus basic and advanced sessions on using Launchpad," DISCOVER involves "some of Novation’s favourite organisations and charities in a series of talks, panels and discussions" and LATES offering "an intimate setting for live performance and DJ sets from a handpicked line-up of both emerging talent and established artists".

The pop-up takes place at 133-135 Bethnal Green Road and opens from 11am to 7pm Tuesday through Saturday, with Thursday LATES taking place from 7pm to 10pm. To get the full schedule and to get free tickets, visit Novation London's Eventbrite page here.
