OAKLAND GHOST SHIP FIRE RELIEF BENEFIT TO TAKE PLACE IN BERLIN

The dance music community comes together as one…

An Oakland Ghost Ship fire relief benefit will take placed in Berlin at Musik & Frieden this Friday, 16th December 2016 from 11PM to 6AM.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Bay Area’s Gray Area Foundation for the Arts Oakland Fire Relief Fund with the funds devoted to PTSD/grief counselling and legal defense.

It will be Musik & Frieden’s anniversary as a venue and the name translates to "music and peace” — it aptly fits the description of the benefit that will be taking place. Artists part of the roster,  the majority of whom honed their skills with time in the Bay Area,  are Some Ember, Luz, Kenneth Scott, Karl Meier, Jamaica Suk, Giovanni, Doc Sleep, Beaner, Avalon Emerson, Alland Byallo and Alinka. All sets will be performed by two DJs back-to-back.

Cash donations will also be collected at Zum böhmischen Dorf, Sanderstr. 11, where a public memorial gathering will be held today, 12th December from 7PM to 11PM.
