An official Avicii biography will be released in 2021

It was initially due for release this year

An official Avicii biography, which was initially set for release this year, has now been confirmed for a 2021 release date.

The book has been written by Swedish journalist Måns Mosesson, with a statement about the biography previously stating that it intends to celebrate Avicii's life and music, while also shedding some light on "the difficulties that Tim experienced".

The book will be spread across more than 300 pages, but the publish date is now set for November 2021, a considerable delay on the initial 2020 release plan.

As was previously announced, the proceeds from the book will go to the Tim Bergling Foundation, a mental health charity set up by Bergling's parents and peers to commemorate him and help others in need.

Discogs recently revealed that a 12" copy of Avicii's breakthrough track 'Levels' has sold for $1,764, as part of a feature looking at the 30 most expensive items sold via the online music marketplace in September.
