The LP will be released in July

Orbital

Orbital have announced the release of their new album, ‘30 Something’. You can listen to the track, 'Where Is It Going?', made in collaboration with Stephen Hawking, below.

The Legendary UK dance duo's new album arrives three decades after they first started producing and releasing music together. The album follows a series of remixes from the likes of Dusky and Shanti Celeste and ANNA, and will be released in double CD, quadruple LP boxset and digital formats.

Ahead of the album's release, the duo have shared a new mix of their collaboration with the late theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking, 'Where Is It Going', from the 2012 London Paralympics Opening Ceremony.

Speaking about the collaboration, Orbital said: "This is our special Paralympic version of ‘Where Is It Going?', featuring the fantastic Stephen Hawking. He’s tackling the big question of the unification of physics and the understanding of a theory of everything. We’re not there yet, we can’t even find a unification socially as a species but hopefully one day we will find out where we are going...”

You can listen to the special mix below, and pre-order the album ahead of its release on 15th July here.
