Orbital revealed that they are set to reform after their 2012 split yesterday, and now they’ve dropped their first new music in five years with ‘Kinetic 2017’, a rework of their 2008 track. You can listen to it below.
Brothers Phil and Paul Hartnoll revealed that they will reform for a series of live shows in 2017, with Forbidden Fruit festival, Bluedot and Standon Calling all announced.
Alongside ‘Kinetic 2017’, the pair have also reportedly been back in the studio together working on a new album. No further details on the latter have been announced. Orbital released their last album, ‘Wonky’, in 2012.
